The Scientific Technical Council (WTR) is an independent advisory body of Stichting SURF. The Council supports the General Board and the Executive Board on scientific and technical matters, and in reviewing SURF projects and activities.

The Council consists of members with expertise from different academic fields. This makes the WTR a unique council for policy makers seeking help to improve the quality of their institution.
